MECHANICAL BELT FASTENING SYSTEM – LIGHT DUTY
At Flexco, we’ve spent decades developing a wide range of Mechanical Belt Fastening Systems that get your belts up and running fast and provide long-lasting performance for maximising uptime.
Below are light-duty mechanical belt fastening system that is best suited to your application.
Anker® Wire Hook Fastening System
The Anker® Wire Hook Fastening System is designed with a variety of different wire diameters, leg and point lengths, metals, strip lengths, and styles to meet your individual application needs.
Anker® G Series™ Fastening System
The Anker® G Series™ Fastening System stamped from either galvanized or AISI 316 stainless steel and then machine-applied provides constant compression, resulting in a flat, uniform splice. The staggered-leg design with four alternating leg lengths deliver additional strength and durability to the finished splice. Is designed for use with PVC, PU and PES belting.
Anker® Laundry Patch Fastening System
The Anker® Laundry Patch Fastening System combines the binding of cotton laundry tapes and fastener installation into a single installation process that takes approximately 20 seconds. Anker Wire Hooks are supplied preloaded into a patch material. The lacer applies pressure to the heated jaws to properly clinch the fasteners while simultaneously heating and activating the glue on the inside of the patch. The glue becomes liquid and permeates the laundry tape, and when cooled, binds the laundry tape fibers to prevent the fasteners from pulling through the belt end.
Anker® Spiral Lace Fastening System
The Anker® Spiral Lace Fastening System is ideal for belt operations with small head pulleys that require both non-metallic and low-profile fasteners. The fastener is constructed of polyester webbing, spirals, and hinge pins. It is installed by either insertion between the plies, ply stepping, or finger splicing.
Clipper® Wire Hook Fastening System
The Clipper® Wire Hook Fastening System is designed with a variety of different wire diameters, leg and point lengths, metals, strip lengths, and styles to meet your individual application needs.
Clipper® G Series™ Fastening System
The Clipper® G Series™ Fastening System is precision stamped from 316L stainless steel and then machine-applied provides constant compression, resulting in a flat, uniform splice. The staggered-leg design with four alternating leg lengths deliver additional strength and durability to the finished splice. Is designed for use with PVC, PU, and PES belting

Alligator® Staple Fastening System
The Alligator® Staple Fastening System is ideal for a wide variety of light- and medium-duty fastener applications. The system features one-piece fastener strips with pre inserted staples that speed installation and keep downtime to a minimum.
Alligator® Lacing Fastening System
The Alligator® Lacing Fastening System is ideal for easy, economical installation of a low-profile belt splice. Available in continuous lengths, the system fits any belt width and provides uniform tension across the full belt width. The one-piece fastener strip also ensures that there are no loose pieces to work themselves out of the belt and into the conveyed product.
Alligator® Rivet Fastening System
The Alligator® Rivet Fastening System is specially designed for the abusive round hay baling application, simplifying belt maintenance and increasing uptime.
Alligator® Spiral Lace Fastening System
The Alligator® Spiral Lace Fastening System is ideal for belt operations with small head pulleys that require both non-metallic and low-profile fasteners. For applications where a mechanical belt fastener is desired for ease of belt installation or quicker belt cleaning, but for one reason or another a metallic fastener cannot be used, consider Alligator® Spiral Lace. Alligator Spiral Lace is a low-profile splice that is fabricated into the belt through a variety of splicing techniques. Depending on the installation method it can operate over pulley diameters as small as 10 mm (13/32\”). It is available in white or blue polyester for applications demanding FDA-compliant materials, black polyester for general applications, or PEEK for high temperature applications.
Alligator® Plastic Rivet Fastening System
The Alligator® Plastic Rivet Fastening System produces a non-scratching, non-magnetic, quiet mechanically-applied splice that can be easily dismantled for installation, cleaning, and sanitation.

ENDLESS SPLICING SYSTEMS
With the most advanced technology on the market, Novitool® endless splicing tools help you quickly prepare your light-duty belt and produce strong, long-lasting splices in as little as 8 to 12 minutes.
Below are endless splicing tools that is best suited to your application.
Novitool® Aero® Splice Press
The Novitool® Aero® Splice Press offers the latest technology to create a superior endless splice, typically in less than 10 minutes. All necessary components are compactly self-contained, making the press easy to use, store, and transport.
Novitool® Amigo™ Splice Press
The Novitool® Amigo™ Splice Press splices monolithic belting, ensuring tight pitch tolerance and no pinholes. Accuracy, speed, and operator safety are fully integrated into the Amigo design, making it an ideal splicing tool for in-shop or on-site splicing.
Novitool® Pun M™ Mobile Finger Punch
The Novitool® Pun M™ Mobile Finger Punch is designed to effortlessly punch fingers into PU and PVC conveyor belts in preparation for installing endless splices. Depending on the desired finger dimensions, Flexco offers a variety of punchboards for the Pun M, including custom punchboards.
Novitool® Ply 130™ Ply Separator
The Novitool® Ply 130™ Ply Separator cuts between the plies of conveyor belting for belt splice preparation. Plies can be split as deep as 5” (130 mm) in one action, making the tool perfect for preparing stepped splices and for recessing mechanical fasteners.
The robust construction of the Ply 130 allows for precise separating of thermoplastic belts – both thin and thick. As little as 0.35 mm *0.014\”) can be separated — allowing for users to create foil/film from the belt used in the splicing process.

BELT ACESSORIES
Transferring product safely and efficiently through the belt conveyor system is often one the biggest challenges in material transfer. See Flexco line of segmented transfer plates, hitch guards, and conveyor belt cleats to ensure your load reaches its destination.
Below are the belt accessories that is best suited to your application.
Tatch-A-Cleat® Belt Cleats
Designed to improve incline conveying and material containment, Flexco easy-to-install Tatch-A-Cleat® belt cleats, pegs, lugs, and V-guides can restore full carrying capacity to your incline or conveyor belts within minutes – without removing your belt from the conveyor.
Hitch Guards
Hitch Guards are engineered to provide a smooth transition of product over the conveyor hitch, preventing small objects from becoming lodged in the hitch, which can cause longitudinal conveyor belt tears, damage to conveyed products, and costly periods of unscheduled downtime. Designed to permit individual segments to release from the support bar, objects are quickly dislodged while remaining segments stay secured for continued operation.
Segmented Transfer Plates
Segmented Transfer Plates from Flexco can help prevent product loss at the transfer point, preventing potential damage to the product as well as the belt and conveyor structure. Segmented Transfer Plates provide smooth transition from one belt to another, from belt to chute, or from belt to structure. Bright yellow segments snap onto the mounting bar to accommodate belts up to 1500 mm (60\”) wide and gaps from 100 mm to 250 mm (4\” to 10\”). A Segmented Transfer Plate design with a narrower support bar is also available for smaller pulley to pulley gaps from 38 mm to 75 mm (1.5\” to 3\”).
